I just made a lot of meat-based pasta sauce (the recipe calls for 6 chillis! and coriander! and pineapple?!) as part of my somewhat successful crusade to make every recipe from the Roy Choi cookbook LA Son. I also cooked the Short Rib Stew on Sunday to much critical acclaim (from my group of board games friends, who quite frankly, have better taste in food than any non-chef group of people I can think of), so I am definitely keeping the cooking ball rolling.
and now I have food to take to work! it’s a brand new thrifty world.
